Jos. A. Magnus & Co. is no stranger to world-class bourbon and preeminent gin. And, as results from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC) and New York International Spirits Competition (NYISC) confirmed, both spirits are worthy of glowing attributes. Their latest accolades ensure Magnus’ spirits are still heralded as the most remarkable spirits for the most remarkable people.
Joseph Magnus Bourbon was awarded Double Gold in its class at the 2021 SFWSC
The award was the spirit’s second Double Gold recognition in the last three years and its third medal overall. Joseph Magnus Bourbon also garnered a Silver medal from the NYISC, it’s first-ever from the only international spirits competition in the world judged by real trade buyers. This spirit is a marriage of straight bourbon whiskey aged in white oak barrels and finished in Oloroso sherry, Pedro Ximénez sherry, and cognac casks. It has hints of orange peels, aged dark fruits, and vanilla.

Double Gold is awarded to entries that receive a Gold medal rating by all members of the judging panel. It is one of the most reliable indications of spirits excellence. Joseph Magnus Cigar Blend Bourbon has been awarded Double Gold distinction 3x over the last four years, in addition to its Platinum medal in 2019. It is artfully designed by Master Blender Nancy Fraley to mingle with the presence of a fine cigar, headlined by rich aromas of tobacco, spice, and vanilla.
