You know and love the Thanksgiving classics — turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing… But most families have their own take or twist on each of these dishes and ours provides an extra kick. Check out some boozy takes on these Thanksgiving staples, thoughtfully curated from some of our favorites sources.
- 2 c. sugar
- ½ c. Joseph Magnus Bourbon
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 large coins of peeled ginger
- Orange zest
- Juice of 4 oranges
- 1 cup of cranberries (frozen or thawed)
- 1 vanilla bean

Bourbon Pecan Stuffing
- 2 celery stalks, finely chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- ½ c. butter
- 2 tbsp thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 cups bread cubes
- 2 tbsp Joseph Magnus Bourbon
- 1 cup turkey broth
Preheat oven to 325°F. Melt butter in a small saucepan and cook celery and onion until soft. Stir in thyme, pecans, and salt and pepper. In a large bowl, combine vegetable and bread cubes. Drizzle mixture with bourbon and enough broth to moisten the ingredients. Pour everything into a 2 quart baking dish and bake uncovered for 50-55 minutes.
- 1 (15-ounces) can pure pumpkin
- 1 c. heavy cream
- 1/3 c. sour cream
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 1/2 tablespoons Joseph Magnus Bourbon
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. ground allspice
- 1/4 tsp. salt

- 6 cups apple cider
- 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
- A few gratings nutmeg
- Seeds from 1 vanilla bean
- One 2-inch piece orange zest
- ¾ Joseph Magnus Bourbon
- Whipped cream, for serving
